I explained the power struggle within the sub/masochist and why as slave he/she seeks control from the other.  And now something really bizarre.  I have been waiting to use this text and really get into some heavy shit (no pun intended).  I base My temerity to use and refer to it as a source as a matter of My naming myself a fetish historian of sorts.  Here goes:

In a paper entitled, Adolf Hitler’s Guilt Feelings, I read that Adolf Hitler liked for young women to urinate and defecate on his person to gain sexual fulfillment and gratification.  I imagine then that to relieve his guilt for hurting others, he had to hurt himself, or be hurt- another Freudian anxiety driven defense called Reaction Formation – but how is this a turn on?  Especially when we are dealing with the body’s waste products?  Answer:  Pride turned inside out and upside down, the opposite and inverse reactions.  So clean the Aryan ideal- so free of filth.  Filth then is fetishized to relieve the guilt of carrying it to extremes.  Remember the vanillaness of the sex act is unclean, unpredictable and uncontrollable without a ritual of some sort.  For Hitler it seems he used as filthy a ritual as you can get.  The ritual serves to defend against these circumstances and protect ones ideals and the self from contamination.  His rituals of purification were just as extreme and I gather this is where the author formulated the premise for his research. All Psychological speculation of course, but food for thought when contemplating a reason for more bizarre human behavior.

What does urination and ruination of pride have to do with being a mermaid?

My speculation  is that Mermaids somehow alter the ego- like does rubber as false skin, as fur alters hairiness, shoes alter feet- all rival the human attributes in favor of the unalterable or rigidly permanent. It could be easier for the mind to perceive, and thus conceive, in a sexual act without fear.

I intend to explore more on these topics using Terror Management theory- an off shoot of Becker and More Freud, more Freud more Freud!!!! next time funneled through John Money’s theory.  Money came up with his 6 stratagems to explain the Freudian construct of the rescue and how the fetishist saves what is loved,- defined in greek as philia as in yes, paraphilia, from danger, from extinction- from death.  What instigates the rescue?
